• Good Day. I hope this day finds you well.
I have been having a problem with 2 sites. It is the same client
On her original site is sarita-inc.co.za but I fixed the problem by redoing the products.
The one I am busy with is https://thenawtyside.co.za/ Not all but some products load the long description is there but it disappears once the site loads. I read that the Vibratex theme can cause this but Sarita-inc are built on astra with a custom shop. Both are doing the same. We did not create a staging, we redid her site from scratch( Her old site did the same). She has a third domain gaiaco.co.za that does not have this problem. Sarita-inc and Nawtyside are built on elementor and gaiaco is built on Divi.

Any help would be appreciated as this has been a problem for a long time.

  • Hey there, @pierre1982! Thanks for contacting us. I’m happy to help you.

Can you please share the URL of some products where this is happening?

I checked the one in the message, but was not able to see the issue.

If you think screenshots can help us better understand the issue, please feel free to share them. I recommend using https://snipboard.io. You can share the direct link to the image as a response to this topic.

Also, since you mentioned the theme, were you able to test it on a default theme such as Storefront to see if the issue persists?
What about only having WooCommerce active and all other plugins deactivated (including Elementor)?

    Looking forward to your reply.

    Have a wonderful day!

Good Morning. I trust you are well.
https://ibb.co/VqXfcqs This is the image. There is no long description. Yes, I did try to change the theme to Astra. I also Disabled all the plugins. I actually first thought it was Elementor as the shop page is custom built but that does not explain why 2 of her domains are doing the same. One Astra and one Vibratex.
The reason why it is hard to pinpoint is that it is only certain products. In the end, it might just be elementor that is messing me around as Her 3rd Domain is built on divi does not have this problem, and also has a custom shop page. I am going to try storefront and see if this still happens and I will load the stock woocommerce shop page.

    Kind Regards: Pierré
