Shortcode Gallery-ID don’t change

  • We copy pages with your Plugin. Than we want change the gallery with the “Edit” button, but at the Shortcode only the gal_title attribute will change. The id attribute will be the same as at the copied page and so the copied page and the new page gets even the same gallery.

    Hi @kometschuh ,

    Thank you for posting your question in our forum.
    Please note that the duplicating process of a page does not duplicate the gallery, therefor the ID will remain the same.
    After copying the page, you will need to create a separate gallery and insert the short code of it to the new one.

    Since the gallery shortcode ID is not visible anywhere or the gallery shortcode is not an initialized object, we think it is possible to change the gallery using the dropdown menu on copied pages.

    We think it would be better to have a shortcode copy routine for copied pages that creates a new shortcode and shortcode ID.
