Can you post the backup log from the backup/restore tab using a tool such as pastebin.com?

Apologies for the delay over the weekend. I am getting a 403 error and it is saying

“Error, this is a private paste or is pending moderation. If this paste belongs to you, please login to Pastebin to view it”

Ok, my apologies. New to pastebin. Now marked as unlisted. Same url…. https://pastebin.com/vX6Crji4

    No problem.

In the settings tab, in the FTP settings, have you enabled “passive mode”?, if not can you enable it?

    Thread Starter franzszymanski

    (@franzszymanski)

Yes, tried it both ways. It was checked the last time I tried

I was just looking through you previous support request.

I noticed that you have nothing in the remote path in your earlier screenshots.

    Is this still the case?

If it is, you will need to specify a path but please make it relative (do not put the put in the full path). You will also need to create this folder on your FTP as well before you can send a backup there.

I believe that screenshot was from the parameters you requested, to your server. Nevertheless, here is a screenshot from my most recent configuration (which is still not working)

Can you try checking the option to “Disable SSL entirely” in the settings tab?

Sorry to report, that doesn’t make a difference either. Same errors as before.

Apologies for the ongoing inconvenience. The plugin is able to connect to your FTP but something is preventing the Uploaded, can you check with your FTP provider if there is anything stopping the upload?

I believe that would be me. Also, I use updraft from another hosting provider’s site, and write the data to my ftp site and it works fine. (identically configured). So whatever this is, is probablynot coming from my end.

When you had me test with FTP to your site, I believe it connected successfully and failed to write data there as well.

    Hi,

I am just checking in with one of my colleagues to see if they have any further suggestions

    Hi,

    Apologies for the ongoing issues.

Have you checked the logs for the outgoing firewall on your webserver where the site is hosted?

It is possible that the firewall or other security mechanism on the webserver is preventing the outgoing connection to the FTP server
