New Membership Payment Duplication

I’m going to need to get a better understanding of your site to work through this – Please can you provide us with your Site Health information for your WordPress site? Your Site Health contains details about your WordPress and PMPro setup which can help us quickly pinpoint possible conflicts or problems that could cause the issue you’re currently experiencing.

Please follow the steps below to retrieve your Site Health Info in the WordPress admin and reply back to us when the details have been added:

1. Navigate to Tools > Site Health in the WordPress admin.
2. Click on the “Info” tab.
3. Click the button to “Copy site info to clipboard”.

Thank you for your feedback. I’ve tested the checkout process with the Paystack Add On however have been unable to replicate this behavior. Your levels appear to be set up correctly and there aren’t any known bugs in PMPro that would cause this.

Please try reaching out to Paystack support and see if they can pick up anything related to the transactions that double charged your members on their initial sign up – feel free to share their feedback here so that we can look into it as well.

The first transaction was a subscription payment, while the second one was a one-time payment. Could you please let us know if you’d like us to cancel the subscription?

We haven’t been able to replicate this behavior however I team has asked Paystack for a Nigerian test account to try and replicate this.

Your level settings are set to charge an initial amount and create a subscription but not charge them for it until the next billing cycle – this is normal behavior however we’re unsure as to why Paystack is double-charging members on the initial checkout.

Thank you for these screenshots. We’ve tested a daily membership level on our side but have been unable to replicate the same behavior.

Would you be able to include any screenshots of the ‘Plans’ in PayStack? If you can edit the Daily plan and send screenshots of that too that would be helpful.
