I′m wondering why the schema code is only integrated in the frontpage.
I placed the shortcode in the footer of my website.

@achimsiegmund The schema refers to your business and only needs to appear once in a website for it to be used by an external service such as Google My Business. You can optionally place this data elsewhere, but normally, the front page is the best spot for this.

The Shortcode (or Widget) can be placed anywhere, it is separate from the Structured Data. This is to inform visitors viewing (or reading) your website, The Structured Data is aimed at other computers, so it isn’t human-readable.

    Hi,

thank you very much for your reply. I thougt it is neccessary to be placed on every page.
And in the Google Search Console every page is scanned for Rich Snippet Reviews.
As i know it from a page from my Client the Google Star Reviews in the Google SERPs is only displayed for “Sub-Pages” and not for the Front-Page …

The Client uses another system and on every “sub-page” is the schema code with @type”:”AggregateRating” …

    And this system works

Anyway thanks very much for you reply!

@achimsiegmund Structured Data is there to help other computers understand the content of a website and its associated business/product/service/etc. so if you have many articles, each will have their own data that is relevant to each instance, and so it is applicable to that page.

With the overall business, this information only needs to be provided once per website (provided it is a single business). If you have multiple businesses or presences, it will be worth considering a different plugin or creating your own code to provide this additional information.

Multiple sets of Structured Data on one page are fine, but replicating the same information across an entire website without offering anything new is not recommended and goes against best-practice.

You can read more about Schema/Structured Data at https://schema.org.
