Changing order of categories not showing

When you go to Products > Categories, are the categories in the order you want there?

Can you share a screenshot of it with us? I recommend using https://snipboard.io. You can share the direct link to the image as a response to this topic.

Furthermore, I’d like to understand your site properly. Please share with us the necessary information below for us to investigate the issue further:

System Status Report which you can find via WooCommerce > Status > Get system report > Copy for support.
Fatal error logs (if any) under WooCommerce > Status > Logs. Then you can use the selector to search for Fatal Errors.

Hello,

Yes the order is right, i dragged them like i wanted them, then nothing changed frontend. It shows them in alphabetical order now, thats not what i want.

But there is more, i also set it too sub categories. I changed the subs, but that doesn’t show up either.

24-05 we had a fatal error, wan to see that too? The changes were from after that.

The order of product categories in WooCommerce is determined by the “menu order” attribute, not the alphabetical order. It seems like there might be a conflict with your theme or another plugin that’s causing the categories to display in alphabetical order.

The best way to determine this is to:

• Temporarily switch your theme to Storefront or Twenty Twenty-Four
• Disable all plugins except for WooCommerce
• Repeat the action that is causing the problem

If you’re not seeing the same problem after completing the conflict test, then you know the problem was with the plugins and/or theme you deactivated. To figure out which plugin is causing the problem, reactivate your other plugins one by one, testing after each, until you find the one causing conflict. You can find a more detailed explanation on how to do a conflict test here.

Since the menu was in alphabetical already.
