Theme Competition Winners Announced

A big well done to everyone who entered! The real winners are, of course, the WP users with 140 possible themes to choose from!

And congratulations to the WordPress community. Thanks to the competition we’ve got another 140 themes to play with, and that’s beside the more than 100 already out there or have appeared since.

Anyone who now complains they can’t find a theme they like will be ignored.

There’s some wonderful stuff in there, and a TON of inspiration for everyone.

Shame this got buried! I missed it entirely until just now. What a WONDERFUL bunch of themes, and those winners fully deserve every bit of accolade. I’m in awe of the abilities of ALL those submitting themes to the competition – I’m doing well to tweak a few things in a theme someone has made!

Outstanding. Kudos to everyone involved, and mega-applause to Alex King: without you, your time, your space, and your willingness to promote this competition, we wouldn’t have all these new toys!

Really amazing. I am SO GLAD I wasn’t one of the judges. That’s a lot to go through. But I’m seriously impressed with the winners, too. Incredible!

Now, I’ll go off and hide in a closet and feel intimidated by the brilliance around me.
