drop down menu

  • im in the process of makign a drop down menu for my blog and im pretty sure there is a way to make it stay in the same place when you re-adjust the size of your browser. i looked at how the sidebar was setup in the css cause i thought that might be the way to do this, cause i want to make a place where it will all stay in a certain place and not stray off of the white, but i just dont understand it..need help please!

    ok i figured out how to position it correctly using relative div positioning but now each of the layers of my menu make my blog push down so there is a big space between my blog and drop down menu. how do i fix it so that the blog is right underneath the menu and the drop down part overlap it on mouseover?
