I keep getting Properly Size Images and Serve Next Gen Images warnings in my Pagespeed Insights mobile performance scores . . . I could not figure it out because I have the Ewww plugin activated, connected with Easy IO and Easy IO was activated. . . but I decided just to make sure, and it was no longer activated. I have had to re-activate it a few times now.

Is this normal? Am I going to have to go re-activate that feature repeatedly, or am I doing something that is causing it to deactivate?

No, it’s not normal. Is it that you click on the “activate” button for Easy IO and save and then the page refreshes and it still shows that it needs to be activated? In that instance, it’s usually an object cache. Sometimes an object cache can keep your plugins “stuck” in whatever state they were in when it was cached. If you aren’t sure if you have an object cache or don’t seem to have any plugins offering that, you may want to check with your webhost.

I’ll watch it and see if I can track what triggers it.

As it’s been a couple of weeks and I haven’t heard anything more about this, I’m going to resolve this thread. However, if the issue crops up again or if you have further questions, please feel free to open a new one!
