After WP 6.5.3 Facebook chat does no longer show

  • Hello

    Suddenly my Facebook chat does not work on my clients website. At the same time an automated update of WP 6.5.3 has been made (I know I have set this to NOT auto-update from now on) . Is this correlated? Or any other suggestions on what might be wrong?

    I have the same problem from this morning! The FB Messenger icon doesn`t appear on my website, unfortunetly!

    Someone can advice us to solve the problem?

    After updating to 6.5.3 the chat does not appear

    Hello,

    When you navigate to the External Business Connection in the Meta Business Suite, you can find the following information from Meta/Facebook:

    “Chat plugin will soon be discontinued
    Starting May 9, 2024, you will no longer be able to access any features of the chat plugin. From then on, the guest chat plugin will no longer be available, but you will still be able to use other features, such as m.me links.“

    It’s unfortunate that Facebook has abandoned its plugins in WordPress, which can’t even provide that information.
