Hello @wrskate and welcome the world famous WP Forum. Rodolfo shares the hooks for the entire store on another page somewhere. He also mentions putting your store in Catalog mode also, will Catalog mode not do?

No neither of those options is what were are looking for. I need only specific brands to hide the price. We still want to be able to sell the products.

I am wanting the script to swap the price for text saying “see price in cart” for the specific brands to adhere to MAP policies with less manual work when price changes occur.

Hello @wrskate thanks for clarifying. Since you mentioned “specific” brands and categories, that assumes you’re going to need a way in the backend to tag those. Which means this is going to require custom coding or an app. This sort of thing isn’t supported in this forum. Only issues with WooCommerce core.

For that you’d need to find a developer that can give you the ability to tag those categories and brands specifically to show the message “see price in cart”.

I’ll keep my eyes open for an app that can do this as well and I’m sure the team might know some as well. They’ll be around to chime in. Thanks.

Our products are already tagged for categories and brands.

You said specific, which assumes you have other categories you want the price to show on. No?

Yes. I am wanting to modify the Business Bloomer script to target specific brands. We would want to swap the price for “see price in cart” on Hill’s brand products. This page shows a good example of our current setup.

This link shows just hills and what the retired MAP plugin does.

Right, this is exactly what I said above. However, you didn’t set the BBloomer script you’re working with to start. So we have really nothing to go on. And again, this forum is not for customizing WP or WC per guidelines.

You pasted the same URL above twice. Not sure why. Anyway.

If you know how to code then you can add the category and brand exclusion to the code, but if you don’t then ideally you’d want a custom meta box that has a checkbox so you can check it to exclude x and or y for current and future products. That’s how I’ve always done it for clients.

If you’re using an app then you need to seek guidance from the author of that app. If that app is deprecated then try and find one that does what you need.
