Changes to CSS not showing up when saved stylesheet

    First of all, I’m a complete beginner to CSS so apologies if I’m being an idiot!
    I’ve recently upgraded my CSS and made a few changes.
    One of the changes I made was the color of my post titles. I found the correct code on one of the WordPress forums.
    Its been working great for about a week but I went to make some changes in Custom CSS this evening and now I can’t seem to get the color back. I’ve tried re-inserting the code and although it shows up fine on preview it doesn’t work when I save stylesheet and go back to my blog.
    The current blog titles are green, I want them in pink, color- # A71083.
