display a searchable member database

  • Hi everyone, Greetings from sri lanka! I’m looking for some ideas, help to locate a suitable solution for the task below. would be really helpful if anyone has an idea.

    Task – I want to display a list of technicians – searchable or filterable – i want to display their pic, region, rating etc. back end enter the details. is there a plugin that can do this. I found many tables but i want this to keep on expanding.

    I am a wordpress user (5 sites with wordpress for more than 5 years) looking for help.

    What are you currently using to build the members database and profiles? If you’re using some WordPress theme/plugin for this, then your desired solution has to be built on top of that.

    If this is a new project, will this be a static list of searchable member profiles? If so, then any of the plugins below should serve the purpose.

    Or is this a new project where there will be some sort of “transactions” and interactivity? Eg will these technicians be paying to become members or upgrade their membership? Will you be providing premium content and other features only available to paid members? Will the website users merely be viewing these profiles, or interacting with the technicians in some way like contacting them or initiating new projects directly from your site?
