Email template overriding/customisation

Hello there,

I would like to customise the content within some user emails but so far have had no luck. For example if we look at this template tag [#login_details#], it spits out a lot of information that we cannot customise using any of the given template tags (see the attached screenshot). As far as I can see, that tag generates all those content highlighted in red, in the second image.

Could you please explain what’s the best way to customise those contents? For example, I want to get rid of the username field and replace it with the user’s email address details, and also add a tracking code/parameter to links, based on their role. I believe that you have some hooks to control this content as per this support request. Any input on this is highly appreciated.
