• If you want to pay with only paypal, this is your plugin. Once credit cards are involved, you’re shot. Doesn’t work.

I added this plugin for a client who already has a business account. The account is well established so I figured this would be a breeze……..

The account was quickly approved for advanced processing, but unfortunately, after checking the box for include credit cards and selecting advance processing, I couldn’t connect/activate the account because Japan isn’t listed as an option within the country/region drop down in the PayPal modal – despite it being listed on PayPals website.

Nonetheless, I figured I’d settle for the standard processing. 12 hours later, I’m still at it….I cannot, for the life of me, get this credit card button to show.

I swear I’ve tried just about everything…I’ve disabled all themes, all plugins, I’ve read just about all the documentation, I’ve watched countless tutorials – which always just works by connecting their paypal account within woocomerce.

So you might get lucky. But if you’re like me, and you don’t, you’ll sink countless hours and make no progress.

    Hello @antgo213

I’m confident we can resolve this issue quickly if you contact us directly. You can request support by opening a ticket with our service desk here: Request Support. Please include the URL of this review in your ticket for our reference.

As for your concerns, the country you select in the PayPal popup during the merchant account connection process doesn’t affect the functionality. However, the issues you’re experiencing with both the Advanced and Standard credit and debit card gateways might be due to the use of blocks, but I can only confirm this after reviewing your system report and site URL.

In any case, I believe we can swiftly resolve the problem once you get in touch with us.

We look forward to assisting you.

    Kind regards,
    Krystian
