Send emails only to existing customers

    Hello,

    I can not tell by the docs if it is possible to only target existing customers. I know registered users can be targeted but this is more complicated. Due to European law general sending abandoned cart email is ONLY allowed if the user is already a customer. Registered or guest is not playing a role in that case. If he bought a product in the past as guest, sending abandoned cart email is allowed. So is it possible to target those users only?

    Hi @mike8040

    I’m afraid our plugin currently does not have the functionality to send reminder emails only to existing customers. This is something we have already identified internally and are already working towards implementing.

    While I can’t give an ETA as to when the feature will be ready, I can assure you that it won’t take too long before we roll out an update to address this problem.

    Thanks for the reply. At least it is great you have it on the roadmap. Those reminders are a sensitive topic. Not everyone likes them. I keep your plugin and it’s changelog on the radar. Would be really great if you update that topic.

    @mike8040 you’re right; this is a sensitive topic, and that is why we also keep updating that section of our plugin to accommodate those sensitive changes. While I do not have an ETA yet as to when this will be ready, I can confirm that we’re close to finalizing it and rolling it out.

    I’ll notify you by updating this thread once it is ready.
