Been trying to get a File Upload field on the Profile form all afternoon. Simply won’t display on the front end Profile page at all. Need that field for logged in users to upload their certificate of completion for courses. I have other custom fields set on the Registration and Login forms, and I can get a field with a CF7 shortcode to display on the Profile page, but no File Upload field at all. I’m stumped. Can you advise? Thanks.

    Hello @swcomm

Unfortunately, if I understand you correctly – this functionality does not exist in our plugin at this time.

OK. That’s unfortunate. Since File Upload and Image Upload were available to me in the Form Builder, assumed I could use them.

You can use file upload ofcourse.
Your issue might be the file type.

What type of file is your User’s “certificate of completion for courses”?

It would have been a PDF file, but I can’t even get a File Upload button/link to display on the user’s profile page so they CAN upload that PDF.

I won’t be spending any more time on this, as I’ve moved to an alternate solution, but thank you for commenting.
