how to make sharing icons appear on custom post types?

    Hi! We are just learning custom post types now – things that aren’t quite a post, nor a page. So we created a custom post type and then made a post for that custom post type – but no social media icons are appearing on that kind of post. On standard (non-custom) wordpress posts, the social media icons appear. Is there a way to get social sharing on custom post types, and if so, can you let me know the steps I need to take to do it?

    forget it, we now see the custom post types we created in the menu – so we clicked to enable them. the post types just took a while to appear.

    Hi,

    Yes, you can enable sharing on a particular page-group using the Placement option in the Standard Interface and Floating Interface sections at the plugin configuration page in the admin area.
