I typically don’t write reviews because I fully understand there are a lot of nuances that could keep the software from working for someone or not doing exactly what they need, but I’m a bit tired of the bait and switch.
Yes, there is a free version… but it DOESN’T allow you to even test the staging portion of the plugin… it’s primary function! You can clone the site, test the changes on the new server but not push the data back to the original site. A tiny bit of trust has to be given by the developers since we’re trusting you with our data.
I will not purchase their software at $20/mo. to find out that it won’t fully do what the client needs. Allow me, as a potential buyer to test all of your functions, once… twice maybe, or even for a week before locking it behind a paywall. Don’t lock out it’s primary functions you cannot test without making a payment.

    Hello @d2webdesigns

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. I really appreciate your honesty and understand your frustration regarding the functionality available in the free version of our plugin.

Our aim with the free version is to offer users a taste of the plugin’s capabilities, including site cloning and testing on a new server. We hope this helps users gauge the plugin’s interface and basic functionality. However, I completely understand your point about wanting to test the full range of features, including pushing changes back to the original site, before deciding to purchase.

We take the trust our users place in us very seriously, and I’m sorry to hear that our current setup did not meet your expectations. I’m grateful for your suggestion to allow potential buyers to test all functions for a limited time. It’s a valuable idea, and we will certainly discuss how we might implement a trial period that better serves potential customers like yourself.

In the meantime, I would be happy to personally assist you with any specific questions or requirements you might have, to see if our plugin could indeed meet your client’s needs. Please feel free to reach out to me directly via our contact form. Just link to this review here.

Thank you again for your feedback. It’s essential for us as we strive to improve and meet our users’ needs more effectively.

    Best regards,

    René, Founder
