    Thanks!

I agree. 5.0.2 is the last stable version of this product. I paid for the PDF Embedder Secure version for four years. I submitted a ticket 6 months ago and the issues have still not been resolved.

@satellite406110 @pr-sib Agree. This plugin is a mess. I’m still on 5.0.2 because any attempt of upgrading beyond that continues to break the embed. It echoes a reflection of the entire WordPress site inside the embed window. I’ve been back and forth with countless tickets and still no results! I see they released another upgrade a week or two ago from this post date, tried to upgrade the premium version and now it’s requiring the lite minimal version to be installed next to it? Why?! So I did just that and it’s STILL broken! The embed window just mimics the website. I’ve been around in circles with whoever owns this product now and they still can’t seem to get it fixed. Why not just go back to version 5.0.2 when it was working perfectly and start from there? I’m at a loss because I pay for a license and get nothing in return.

I had issues as well using the PDF secure version (which requires the regular version to run) until I upgraded to the 5.2.3 version of PDF Secure which seems to have resolved the previous issue. Prior to this recent upgrade, I would manually create the embed code by copying the path of the uploaded document and using that. So here is an example: [pdf-embedder url=”https://www.yourwebsiteURL/wp-content/uploads/securepdfs/subfolder/subfolder/my_pdf_name.pdf”%5D
