    Hi,

after the last thread I chose the consent shortcode wrapper instead of the scriptcenter integration for my Brevo signup form to hide Google recaptcha before consent.

But the wrapper somehow messes up the Brevo form. I have prepared 2 separate pages for you: one where the original Brevo form is included (note that this is not GDPR compliant any more, because the scriptcenter integration for Google recaptcha was removed) and one where the Brevo form is wrapped in consent shortcode. Each page contains two versions of the form: above one with checkbox and below one without checkbox.

    Issues with the wrapper:

    • the checkbox functionality is broken (i.e. cannot be checked any more)
    • the design is broken (margins between elements bigger, button bigger and asymmetrical, light red areas appearing below input field and checkbox area)

The HTML code for the Brevo form with checkbox is still the same as in my last thread.

    Can you help, please.

    Thanks in advance.

    Hi @dillhausen,

While we can not change the output of the ‘unblocked’ content after consent is provided in the Consent Area shortcode for you, there seem to be some console errors relating to the unblocked content appearing after consent is provided.

The best recommendation I can provide is to test with wrapping different parts of the HTML content, e.g. limiting which sections are blocked, and limit the impact of blocking the content.

To make a suggestion in the case of your specific HTML, my best guess would be to place the opening [cmplz-consent-area] tag just above the <!-- START - We recommend to place the below code where you want the form in your website html --> comment, and the closing [/cmplz-consent-area] tag below the <!-- End Brevo Form --> comment, but it remains a trial and error process to figure out what works best.

    Kind regards, Jarno
