First of all thanks for a great plugin!

I had a problem with using TranslatePress at the same time.

I use your plugin to redirect the link to the distribution of the current version of the program. For example, on the site on the “download” buttons there is a link “/file.exe”, but in your plugin I already write something like “https://some.cloudfront.net/files/file_v2_56.msi”.

Everything works fine until I connect TranslatePress. For some reason everything works on English pages – the redirect “/en/file.exe” does the right thing. But say from German pages the same redirect, but written as “/de/file.exe” – sends to the destination ADDING a slash at the end, ie:
    https://some.cloudfront.net/files/file_v2_56.msi/
And of course an error occurs, the file is not found.

I tried using regexp – “.*/file.exe”, I tried putting “ignore parameters” in the “query parameters” field – it doesn’t help, still the same, from English pages it adds a slash at the end ((((.

What could be the problem? I suspect that somehow TranslatePress may interfere, but how?

added: of course, I try to disable all plugins except TranslatePress and Redirection, same result.

If Redirection is not performing the redirect then you’ll probably need to look at whatever is adding the slash.

John, Redirection really performing redirect – in browser I see destination url, but slash added.
Can I somehow send test link to you directly?

    John,

    I’m so sorry, my bad!
Tried it in a different browser now and everything works fine! Looks like some extension in chrome or some other problem.
    Everything is working ok now!

    Again, sorry for the inconvenience.
