As I understand you’re having a glitch with the system having duplicated orders, and moreover duplicated payments. This is unusual and it may mean something is interfering with your site.
As a first step, we’d need to know which payment gateway you’re using and if it’s correctly set up. Additionally, does this issue happen for all the orders or just sporadically, and if so, have you been able to determine anything in common between the orders that present this issue? (same products, payment method, shipping zone, etc).
In the meantime, I’d like to understand your site properly. Please share with us the necessary information below for us to investigate the issue further:
- System Status Report?which you can find via WooCommerce > Status > Get system report > Copy for support.
- Fatal error logs?(if any) under WooCommerce > Status > Logs.
