Bulk image AVIF support

Hello,
Testing and using the free version of the plugin (great one, 5*, PRO on the way) when changing product image, it’s not working with AVIF file type. Jpg working well.
Is this a limitation on the plugin, version (free/pro), configuratio, developement required or it should work?Thanks in advance

May I know if you are using any plugin to update images in AVIF format?
