    Hello there.

I have setup my TAX as per the screenshot below. Specifically, I have selected “Yes, I will enter prices inclusive of tax.” and “Display prices during checkout and cart – Including Tax.” Question: Could someone please help me understand where I am misunderstandng how to setup my tax as the checkout is not displaying the correct tax? At step (7):
Why is tax being calculated ontop of my inclusive $10,000 flat rate shipping?

    At step (8):
I would have expected this grand total to be the sum of all my inclusive prices. That is, to say I expected based on my settings: Total = $50,000 + $10,000 (includes $9,579 tax)

A special note: My products were all created and priced BEFORE I setup my tax… I’m unsure if this has something to do with it? For shipping, I’ve just recreated my rates – nope – the tax is still calculated as if I did not choose the option “Yes I will add prices inclusive of Tax

    Thank you in advance,
    Michelle

Hello. I **think** I have this resolved. I’ve just input the pre-tax price for my Shipping Rates (even though I’ve marked I’d input ?“Yes, I will enter prices inclusive of tax.”)

Question: Am I using Woo correctly, is this the correct step to take?

Hey there, @michellepace! Thanks for contacting us. I’m happy to help you.

Am I using Woo correctly, is this the correct step to take?

Yes, you are using it correctly. At the moment the “include price with taxes” does not apply to shipping. So the workaround you found is what is currently recommended to do.

We already have a GitHub report on it, you can follow it here if you want to get updates on it. ??

We can’t specify a date when this will be implemented, it is still in progress. We thank you for your patience.

Please let us know if there’s anything else we can do to help or if you have any questions.

    Have a wonderful day!

As mentioned, subscribing to the GitHub issue is best, for receiving all updates. We haven’t heard back from you in a while, so I’m going to mark this as resolved – we’ll be here if and/or when you are ready to continue.
