My dashboard says “Looks like your site is not allowed access to Google account data and can’t display stats in the dashboard.”

However, the plugin status says “Site Kit is connected”.

I click the button “Redo the plugin set up”.

    I get:

    Error: Bad Request

    invalid parameter: ‘site_id’

    Going around in circles here.

And this used to work. No idea why it now doesn’t.

  • Following. This is happening to me as well.

I’m also having the same issue. Even if I try to redo link it doesn’t work. I can see in GA4 and Google Search Console the site is working but the data feed into WP is broken. Please help.

Thanks for reaching out?@kenrichman. If you’ve already tried the “Redo plugin setup” button, with the same occurring, please perform a plugin reset and share whether you’re then able to proceed with setup?(Tools > Available Tools > Reset Site Kit).

Note that by resetting, you will need to connect all previously connected modules once more.

Regarding this not happening for you previously, when Site Kit was working for you, the invalid parameter: ‘site_id’ is an issue we’re currently investigating, and it may be related to our OAuth authentication system and the Site Kit service. By resetting I suspect you will be able to complete set up.

Let me know if you have any questions with the above. We also have a?guide on the plugin website?in relation to this error which contains more details of this.

@shanksie @ravenwordatcev Please go ahead and also reset Site Kit, before attempting set up once more.

If I do this will it loose the code within the site as Tag Manager and GA4 have already been set up. Will it remove that code or is this purely the plugin feed? Please confirm.

@shanksie When resetting Site Kit, your Tag Manager and Analytics placed code snippets on your site will be removed but you will be able to connect the modules and place the code again with Site Kit once you set the plugin back up after the reset within minutes.

Sorry to hear that @miata2. If you’d like to open an individual support topic we can communicate with you from there.

Please include any details relevant to what you’re experiencing. This may include sharing your Site Health information and a mention of whether you see this after having reset the plugin as suggested above for another user.
