• Hi, glad to find this plugin, it is helpful and I have 2 questions:

    1. Is it possible to add a condition like product tag contains xxx?
    2. Is is possible to add a button to deal with all existing products? It would be a hard task to update 9999 products.

    Hi there,

    1. This sounds like a feature addition that would be possible; I’ll plan to keep it in mind for a future version.
    2. It should already be possible to run rules on existing products, like this: From the Products > Automatic Categories screen, check the box on the left side of the row for each rule you want to run, then click the Save & Run Selected button at the top or bottom of the list. If you have many products, I’d suggest only running one rule at a time to avoid timeouts. If you are finding this function isn’t working as expected, please let me know!

    Hi there,

Just a follow-up to let you know that the product tag condition has been added in version 1.0.3.

Thank you for the great plugin.

Please consider adding the option to filter by category before checking the keyword, similar to how it is already done for tags and attributes.

For example, if a product belongs to the category “Women’s Shoes” and contains the word “loafers” in its name, an additional category “Women’s Loafers” should be assigned.

    Hi there,

Thank you for your suggestion. A “Product category” rule condition has been added in version 1.0.5.

I appreciate the swift development of the plugin.
Could you implement a hierarchical display for the categories? This is crucial as there are categories with identical names but distinct slugs and hierarchical levels. Additionally, the current interface for categorization on the right side becomes cumbersome with an extensive list of categories and tags.
