• A few weeks ago my working pages suddenly showed this in the editor:
“This block contains unexpected or invalid content” regarding unnumbered lists.

The HTML looks right. See this example:
    “<!– wp:list-item –>
    <li><a href=”#Conclusion”>Conclusion</a></li>
    <!– /wp:list-item –>”

When I choose “attempt block recovery” an empty bullet is shown.
When I choose “Resolve” nothing happens in either option.

When I shift from theme schema lite to Twenty Twenty-one, the issue disappears.
When I shift to the Classic editor, the issue also disappears.

    My site health is good
    PHP version: 8.0.30
    WP version: 6.5.2

I have deactivated all plugins, but in Site health info it says:
    “Web server: LiteSpeed”
I have switched to the safest preset, “Essential” i Lite speed, Purged all cash and deactivated. It didn’t help.

Surprisingly I have just tried the Microsoft Edge browser instead of Google: and the issue disappears. Of course I can use this browser for my editing, But The compatibility with Google ought to be reestablished.

    Best regards Flemming

    Additional tests:

Inkognito window in Chrome works fine.

Updated chrome browser and cleared cash
    Updated windows pc and restart

Still not working in normal chrome but is fine in inkognito.

Do you have an addon active in Chrome? Deactivate it. Some influence such web queries.

I have deactivated all addon’s in chrome, cleared cash, closed chrome and logged in again: No change.

I have the same issue. All list items on our club website have this issue. The attempt block recovery option removes the list, the resolve option doesn’t do anything. If I click the resolve option, the resolve block pop-up show the current and after conversion info, but they are identical and highlighted in green. Suppose to indicate that it’s identical, pasted below.

    Current

    <li class=”has-medium-font-size”>Woensdag: 14u – 18u</li>

    After Conversion

    <li class=”has-medium-font-size”>Woensdag: 14u – 18u</li>

Unlike @fiemse I have the issue in Chrome, FF and Edge.

Read somewhere that if the attempt block recovery and resolve options don’t work you have to redo the work. Since I use quite some lists on the site, really not looking forward to it.

It gets even worse: if I do attempt block recovery, it restores it to a standard list item block without content. If I retype the text, update, reload the page, the invalid content comes back. Adding brand new list item blocks show the same behaviour
