    Hello @chrisfeix!
    Thank you for contacting us.

I was reading your previous conversation, and I understand it.

In this case, however, we will need you to please tell us the set of widgets you’re using to create the layout you showed us on the screenshot. This way, we’ll know better what to recommend to achieve a similar layout to what you described (skipping a specific post).
If you’re using any third-party plugin/theme extending the Elementor features, please also mention this.

Let me know if you have other questions related to Elementor.

    Regards.

Thanks for the speedy response. I’m just planning right now. Haven’t started building. I’m going to use the Elementor Theme Builder > Archive Page, but have no idea what to use to achieve this objective.

I found one answer here, but was looking for something more admin friendly: https://stackoverflow.com/questions/72527652/do-not-display-the-last-post-on-the-archive-page

    Hi Chris @chrisfeix

I will assume you are using the archive template with the archive post widget, this widget does not have a native option to create a layout as the one you shared with us. You will need to create/find custom code to achieve this layout.

If instead you use the posts widget in the archive template you can exclude posts on the query section

Check this article for reference Posts widget vs Archive Posts widget

    I hope this helps.

    Kind Regards.

Thank you. I cheated the system by giving the latest post a class and hiding that class. Then I manually remove the class when a new post is created.
