How to add a side bar to the other side of default WordPress 1. 5 theme

It won’t work like that! You have to design (or find) a 3 column layout (a.k.a. template).

Supposedly there’s a couple 3-column versions of Kubrick in the works, but I’ve not heard much on their success. Anyway, check out the list of 3-column themes here:

Guess I will have to settle with one of these untill the Kubrick version is out. thanks guys

As I understand it Kubrick has a high graphical content. On a move to 3 cols – all other issues aside – the graphics would need to be made larger.

Perhaps I should have emphasized “I’ve not heard much on their success.”

I have a rough “Tribrick” index.php working — just not yet at a point where I’d want to start giving it to people.

Kubrick has two problems: one is the particular approach (which makes it difficult to move to a three-column schema overall), and one is the tight ‘width’ of the theme. It doesn’t leave a lot of room for sidebars on both sides, plus center content, with the default width — but I got thin sidebars looking pretty decent.
