Cannot Set Taxonomy Category Change Frequency & Priority

Hello, I have a Custom Taxonomy Category selected, and the custom category sitemap does generate, but I cannot edit or set the Change Frequency or Priority for my custom Taxonomy Category. Please advise a way to do this. It is defaulting to Weekly 30%. I need it to be Daily 80%. Thanks!
