Custom Field in Dropdown

    Hi,

    We have a custom field we use very frequently. Prior to about a week ago it would appear in the dropdown select list and we would select it and add the value as needed. Then publish the post. But all of sudden it’s disappeared from the dropdown and we are adding it using “Enter New” then “Add Custom Field. That’s not a huge deal, an extra step only, but I would like get it back in the list. How do I do that? I don’t remember how I got it in there to begin with?

  • To answer your question, we need to know a bit more about what kind of dropdown you mean? Can you please show a screenshot of it (via https://imgur.com) or a link to the relevant page?

    This has been resolved – this page helped me to figure out that that the dropdown select list for custom fields will only display 30 items. A recently added plugin had added several post-meta items to the list and that’s what pushed ours off.
