Private events showing to logged in users with any role

  • Doesn’t seem to be following normal rules for events published as Private. When logged out, they are not showing. But when logged in as subscriber, they display fully both in the calendar and single event view. Should only be visible to admins and editors.

    Hope this can be fixed in the next version.

  • I use the Members plugin to restrict events to specific roles.

    You’re right, it shouldn’t be necessary to add a membership plugin to get this to work. I published an event as private but I was only able to view the event when logged in as an administrator (in the calendar view and the single event view). When I try to view the event as a logged in user (other than an administrator), I was not able to view the event in either the calendar or in the single event view.
