Move from jQuery to vanilla JavaScript

Thanks for this great plugin.

The only downside is the use of jQuery.

Of all the plugins we use, it is the only one that uses the jQuery library, all the others have switched to vanilla JavaScript.

Using jQuery as a dependency impacts the speed of sites, which is important for SEO.

Are you planning to migrate from jQuery to vanilla JS soon?
