Removing the standard card button

    Hi,

    Thank you for your work on that plugin ! I’m setting it up and have a couple of questions regarding the standard card button:

    A) Is it possible to fully disable/remove credit cards support ??
    To have only the PayPal button, and no ‘credit or debit card’ option.
    I tried the following:
    – I do NOT use the advanced card processing
    – I selected ‘Moves the Standard Card Button to its own dedicated gateway’
    – I disabled the ‘standard card button gateway’

    But the credit card button still shows up when selecting ‘PayPal’. Is there a way to remove it?

    B) If we do use the advanced card processing, there is then 2 ways to pay by card:
    – by selecting the ‘credit card’ option
    – by selecting PayPal and then clicking the ‘credit and debit card’ button

    Again, is there a way to remove that standard card button in that case?

    Yes. Go to the Standard Payments section in the plugin’s settings, find the “Disable Alternative Payment Methods” option, and select “Credit or debit card”.

    B)?If we do use the advanced card processing, there is then 2 ways to pay by card:
    – by selecting the ‘credit card’ option
    – by selecting PayPal and then clicking the ‘credit and debit card’ button

    If you are signed up for Advanced Card Processing then PayPal Payments offers two ways to accept credit card payments:

    1. Standard Card Payments – These payments display a branded Debit or Credit Card button and have a pre-built user experience.
    2. Advanced Credit and Debit Card Payments (Advanced Card Processing) – This method provides a fully customizable user experience.

    Advanced Card Processing offers fully customizable “hosted fields” on your website. The?hosted fields can be styled?with your website’s theme or custom CSS.

    thank you for your quick and detailled reply.

    It seems that selecting “Credit or debit card” in the “Disable Alternative Payment Methods” option only remove the standard card button when the advanced card processing is not active.

    If I use the advanced card processing, i still have the “credit or debit card” button when I select ‘paypal’.
    Is that a bug that this option isn’t taken into account in that case?
    Is there a way to remove the “credit or debit card” button that is in under paypal when we have the advanced card option active ?

    Please share your System Status Report with us. Your site URL will make it easier for us to analyze.

    You can get it by navigating to the?WooCommerce / Status?section of your site. Once there, click on the?Get system report?button and then copy it by clicking on the?Copy for support?button.

    That’s fixed somehow. might have been a cache issue or something.
    again, thanks for the quick support.
    setting up plugin was easy and everything seems to work well. I’ll write a review shortly.
