Restrictions for users ?

Hi

I’m not new to WP but i’m new to users management.
I need something special. I need the registered users to get a dedicated page when they log on.

I explain more : I work in an University, and we’re gonna record the students so they could hear themselve online later. But I don’t want them to go and hear the others students files.
So I’d like WP to display a specific, dedicated page when students log in, which they’d be the only ones allowed to access (except for admins).

For example, let’s say Paul recorded a speech, Tom recorded another one and John a third one.
When Paul log into the WP site, he only can see his own record. Same for Tom and John. But they cannot access others’ records.

By the meantime, admins (teachers) should be allowed to comment on the records (so on the articles), but neither Paul, Tom or John could see the comments.

Do you think it’s possible to set it up on WP ?
