Hello, first of all I want to thank you for creating such a good plugin and it being partially free is incredible.

Related to the topic, the issue that I have is that I can not seem to find where I can change the date of the recipes, just as you usually would with a normal wordpress post. I need to do this in order to “import” old recipes from a website, as we are creating one from zero and we do not want to loose that track.

    Thank you!

    Hi there,

A recipe will take over the post date of its parent post:

So adjusting the date of the post and just saving that should be enough!

    Kind regards,
    Brecht

    Hello again,

Thank you for your quick response. In my case I am using the recipes as a public post type like it is explained here: https://help.bootstrapped.ventures/article/291-the-recipe-post-type

Is there other way to change the date without associating it to a parent post? Thank you!

    Kind regards.

Oh, you’re right. With the public post type that’s not possible at the moment. Will look into adding that option for the next update!

    Hello,

It is a pity that is not possible by now, I hope you can include it for the next update. Thank you!

    Hi again,

I wanted to let you know we just released WP Recipe Maker 9.4.0 which includes the ability to change the date when the recipe post type is set to public.

    Kind regards,
    Brecht
