Error downloading the XML file via URL

    I am trying to import an XML file into WordPress via URL. The file is inside a compressed folder xml.tar, it downloads it but what I see appears encrypted like this:

    The file provider informs me that no restrictions have been set; it seems to be a problem with file reading. Is there any setting regarding file decompression that I can modify? Or is there something else I’m missing? Thank you.
