More Fold Settings?

    Hello,

    I use Joli table of contents on my site and was wondering if there is a way (maybe in Pro?) to customize it to show only the first three or four lines of the TOC (the rest folded) with a “show more” button/icon or toggle. I understand there is a way to automatically fold/collapse longer lists – but then those don’t show any of the headings at all. I’d like three to show with the reader option to open more. I have searched through the settings and can’t figure this out. Thank you

    Hello,

    Thank you for your interest in the plugin.

    There is currently no native way to achieve that. However, the feature has already been requested by a few of our pro users.

    I will definitely add it to the bucket list and see how it could be implemented in a future release.

    Hello,

    Yes, please do add it to the top of your list! We’ve been told by many SEO experts that is now considered the TOC “best practice” by Google for UX (show three lines then fold the rest) so that is probably why you are getting that request. I would gladly join pro for that feature. Thank you for your consideration.
