Uploading error custom file type

I wrote that I can choose and add file, so I have added these extensions. If I didnt have them added in settings, I couldnt even choose them. Error appers while file is uploading (in ajax mode) or after send form (in classic mode).

Hi @krystianrzepa,

WordPress by default has restrictions with uploading bin files by default. Are you able to upload the file under Media > Library on your WP Side?

If not, the behaviour would be the same when uploading the bin file via Forminator.

You can try the following snippet to resolve it:

add_filter('upload_mimes', function($mime_types) {
    $mime_types['bin'] = 'application/octet-stream';
    return $mime_types;
}, 1, 1);

Once the above snippet is added, you should be able to upload the file via the form too.

You’ll still have to make sure the .bin file type is added under the “Additional filetypes” field as mentioned in the previous screenshot:
