Can not remove myself as admin

    Hi,

    I was the admin of many websites that were owned by the same owner. She cancelled my contract more than 1 year ago, and despite all my past emails ( I clearly explained how to remove me as an admin), she still hasn’t removed me as an admin from the site.

    I continue to received around 20-25 emails as an admin, and I’m starting to get really mad!! I redirected all these emails to my spam… but I still receive so much.

    It seems impossible to remove myself as Admin… I looking for a solution.

    Yup. I have the same problem. So, after a while, I just set up a filter to trash those emails. There is nothing we at wp.org can do other than to say, as most of us have developed sites for others, “we’re all in the same boat.”

    Just a thought! I’ve got an emailaddress for like subscriptions and for example, and as a recover emailaddress or something, which I of course have access to. Plan the campaign: recover your password from that site(s). Login. Change the admin emailaddress. Never get those annoying email in your primary emailbox again.
