Kirki V 4.1.1 does not work after site migration

    I have a site up and well running at a development area which uses kirki V4.1.1 (theme Embark purchased at Envato Themeforest). Both sites have same configuration (PHP versions, plugin versions etc.). After migration to the destination production site, when I activate the kirki plugin the “appearence-> customize” left side bar disappears resulting in a broken site layout. Checked both source and destination configuration (frontend and DB) and they are the same (except for the URL). Struggled for days without founding a solution reading hundreads of posts. Any advice?
