Unable to Authorize Domain Email

Received message I need to “Authorize this email address”. I’m using the domain for the email and its a valid email address. When I go to authorize it acts like it is trying to send an email but never does. It is stuck on the “Check your inbox…” pop up and never sends the email. The email address is valid and I can send things to it and receive.
How can I get it to authorize? thanks!
