Broken functions.php blocking me, no ftp access

  • so i have this client website i just moved to their server, and i was making a modification to the template’s functions.php file (removing some admin menus). i botched some code in the file, and now i cannot access any of the admin section. i do not have ftp access. is there a way(url?) to reset to default template (i have main admin login and pass)

    ps: i train them on it tomorrow morning, so any thoughts would be amazingly appreciated, and if i ever meet you in person, i will buy your drinks for the night.

    Upload a fresh copy of the functions.php from a fresh download, replacing the broken.

    If you don’t have access to your admin area, then access your server via FTP or SFTP.

    without ftp access? ?? yeah, i know. i really goofed this one.
    i think a template reset url (with login of course) could be a nice feature though, if it doesn’t exist…
