• Hello,

My WordPress page is set to German, but YITH doesn’t display the plugin translation. I checked the translations folder inside the plugin and there are both .po and .mo files for German. Do I need to delete the other translation files in order to display German?

    Thanks for your help!

    Hello there,
    we hope you’re doing well!

If you are referring to the translation of the fields of the affiliate registration form, I tell you that they are not possible to translate since they are dynamic strings.

About the rest, here you can see our guide to translate our plugins:

    https://docs.yithemes.com/yith-woocommerce-affiliates/category/localization/

Check it out and tell us any doubt, please.

    Best regards.

Hello, thanks for the response. I do refer to the rest such as the affiliate dashboard itself. I already tried to translate the plugin with the method like mentioned at the link, but it seems my WordPress doesn’t use the German translation files, even if the site is set to German.

    Hello there,

I recommend performing the following tests to verify that there are no conflicts with your theme or other plugins:

    • update the plugin, WC and WP to the latest version.
    • change to a default WP theme like 2023.
    • Leave only WC and our plugin active, and activate your plugins in batches until you find the one that conflicts.

    Let us know any news.

    Best regards.
