Hey Roland. I hope you’re doing well. I’ve been using this plugin for a long, long time and love it! It’s always been very reliable. After today’s update, or maybe the one before it, I noticed that the print CSS styles are not displaying properly. I had them initially saved in customizer but have moved them to the “print” CSS box in the Participants Database CSS Settings. No matter what I change them to on print display, most of the styles are overridden by “inline” styling. I can’t figure out why and how to override all this. Can you help??? I can’t share a link unless you email me, as it’s confidential content.

I tested this and it appears to be working as it should. This portion of the code has not changed for years, and Participants Database only uses inline styling to add a couple of user preferences. It wouldn’t be overriding the kind of thing you’ll have in your print CSS.

If other plugins are adding code that is affecting your print CSS then you may have to override those rules with more specific selectors, or use the !important flag to help them override other rules.

Thanks for your feedback and reply. I discovered my issue and it is now resolving correctly. It was not your plugin. BTW, do you recommend using the custom CSS field in your plugin’s settings or customizer CSS for my print styling?

    Thanks again!

Thanks for posting that it was resolved.

You can use either location to place your CSS rules. The main difference is that the CSS rules in the plugin custom CSS settings are only loaded on pages with plugin shortcodes…while customizer rules are loaded on every page.
