    Hi,

I changed my hosting provider last week and have been unable to access my site since. WordPress admin no longer recognizes my email and password and when I enter my site address it shows an irrelevant sample page. The hosting provider said it’s not their fault.

If it counts, I cancelled my previous hosting plan two weeks before I signed up with the new provider. Did I lose access to my site when I did that? All the other times that I switched to a new hosting plan, I used a migrator plugin. My current provider doesn’t have that option, so I manually uploaded my site files via the FTP manager.

I think I will be able to restore my site to its previous state IF I can gain access to my admin panel. Can someone please tell me how to accomplish that? I had created a thread last week but all I was told was to review the moving guide, which doesn’t make much sense without having access to the admin panel.

I’d really appreciate some help with this. Thank you!

    ~Cynthia
