translation issues – invalid file format

    Hi,

    I tried to translate the events calendar – again – (after the last update all hungarian translations are gone) but the hungarian version can not be edited, it says: Invalid mo file: the-events-calendar-hu_HU.mo

    I guess the file should ending as .po

    I copied this problem into the events calendar plugin support too, not sure which plugin is responsible for this problem.

    The Hungarian translation file shipped with the Events Calendar plugin is empty. As are several others in the current release.

    Looking at the non-empty files – they are intended to be binary MO files. The developers don’t ship PO files at all.

    I’d recommend installing the community translations via the WordPress updater instead.
