I have some tickets which include a discounted membership, but I want to check and make sure they don’t have an existing account as I don’t want it used for renewals. I’m using Event Tickets Plus. Is there an appropriate hook I can use during add to cart to compare the supplied email to existing members and fail the attendee form validation with an appropriate message?

I do not have the WooCommerce plugin installed.

Nevermind, I realized I could do it on the front end using a javascript call to a wp_ajax call to check that the email doesn’t exist in the system. Thanks for the reply though.
