Photos not showing

The featured photos are suddenly not showing on my team list. Each team member shows the default thumbnail default-user.png instead of the photo. I have tried adding a new team member with a newly uploaded photo, same issue. I also tried deactivating the plugin and activating it again, no change. Is this a bug or something I can fix myself?
